Report #071 04/08/09
MYSTERY STATION (ENIGMA M51) (See Reports #067, #068, #069 & #070)
Recovery of operating frequencies continues. At various times during February and March simulcasting was observed involving 4 and apparently additional frequencies. The hours of operation appear to be at various times during any 24 hour period. There certainly seems to be days when no schedules are held. This has been evidenced by traffic of those dates being sent on a following date in addition to the traffic for the current date. Saturdays have been observed with the transmission of repeats of messages which had been sent earlier in the week plus the Saturday dated traffic.
LOGGED ITEMS (freqs in kHz, UTC times)
7664 at 2221 5F traffic with zero cut as T
10714 at 1329 Cuban cut numbers
12116 at 1323 Cuban cut numbers
14555 at 1518 Russian Navy RHM81 DE RIW K
14555 at 1416 Russian Navy, 5F traffic with zero cut as T
14651 at 1145 6 tone signals. Believed to be Russian.
