Report #037 03/01/03
SW LISTENERS CONVENTION If you are going to attend the Fest and have not as yet called for a room reservation, I learned that the last room has been taken so you will have to stay at another hotel in the area. I plan to leave early 6 March. I always like to get to Kulpsville a day early as it affords an opportunity to chat with other early arrivals.
The following CRYPTOQUIP will be available at the Fest as a hand-out.
This CRYPTOQUIP appeared in the 01/27/03 issue of the Martinsburg WV Journal.
It is very appropriate for the SWL FEST!
F G A K Y Z Q H B A K U G L M N Z M U M
R Y A A U B K A Z K B U G A Y
Q B V B L M L N N B M A U G A V
R H C A M G B Y U F Z C A ?
CLUE: Cipher M equals plaintext S
LETTER FREQUENCY COUNT
A = 10 B = 6 C = 2 F = 2 G = 5 H = 3 K = 4 L = 3
M = 7 N = 2 Q = 2 R = 2 U = 6 V = 2 Z = 4
